I woke up for uni in a very bad mood at a far too early hour and decided the only thing that would pull me out of this funk was if I were to cover myself in smiling daisies for the day. So that's exactly what I did, and let me tell you it was quite effective! Love that we're clearly both feeling Lazy Oaf at the moment. I also bought Gig a pair of socks and matching note pad from their website the other day. That's right, they match hosiery with stationary - total genius! Hawaii Heaven

Today was just another day in Hawaii heaven. The morning consisted of the world's most delicious buffet breakfast - my favourite combo of bagels, scrambled eggs and pain au chocolat, and a walk through the gardens, followed by an afternoon spent splitting my time between the pool and the beach. Feeling like pretty much nothing could disturb this peace...not even the bird who insists on pecking at our window at 7 every morning.

Morning in Paradise

Discovered this amazing chain of stores in LA called Wasteland, where they sell vintage as well as a lot of cool Aussie labels like Minkpink and Cameo. I picked up this incredible vintage pink skirt for $29 and have been dying to wear it - thought a beach walk in the wind would be the perfect time to christen it, and of course make for a great style snap. This is the most beautiful place on earth and I can't think of a better place to go for a morning stroll - especially when it ended with us watching whales jumping out of the water right off the shore. Paradise.

Finally Arrived

After a day of travelling, a five hour delay at the airport and ten episodes of Homeland, I have finally arrived in Hawaii! Had the most beautiful first day tanning by the pool and reading my most recent obsession Message From An Unknown Chinese Mother which I'll have to give you when I'm done. Could not be more excited that this is all that's on the agenda for the next two weeks! PS I discovered an epic tuna sanga and hot choc combo at Santos in Sydney airport - Pret has some serious competition here!

Les Enfants Rouges

In my quest to show Jerome the best of Paris in the one short week he's here we've been hitting up 2-3 cafes daily. Today we visited Les Enfants Rouges Market - it's kind of like Prahran Market but with really cool little cafes everywhere. There was a huge line for this amazing looking Moroccan place so we opted for Japanese breakfast which was delicious. It's been a while since I rocked some double print, so I decided to get back into it with this outfit courtesy of the package you sent me.

Been thinking about it lately and decided we're in desperate need of some new additions to refresh our wardrobe. From looking at your last few posts, I could tell you clearly had the online shopping well and truly covered, so I thought I'd try the real life stuff for a change and spent the afternoon at Chapel. Nothing too exciting to report... although I was seriously loving on every Minkpink piece I found in Dakota 501! You have to check their new stuff out, it's all so bright and colourful, you will die!

Walked into The Avenue book store where I saw the most beautiful coffee table book that I instantly put on my mental wishlist. New Job

All decked out in Topshop for my first day as the new Topman personal shopping assistant. The day began with an epic shopping spree followed by a three hour styling appointment and delicious salted caramels from Box Brownies. What more could I ask for out of a job? Weather is back to terrible so whipped out your umbrella which reminded me so much of PFW..take me back!!

My Kitten Shirt

Went to Pillar of Salt on the weekend for yet another birthday lunch (not mine this time!). Highlight of the outfit is definitely my shirt that I picked up from SG last week - it was obviously love at first sight with those adorable kittens!
