A Summer's Day

I am absolutely loving this extended summer we seem to be experiencing so I decided to take full advantage and had my ultimate summer's day. Started off with a delicious lunch in Hampton at a cute cafe called Sip. This was followed by an afternoon of tanning and swimming at Half Moon Bay - seriously forgot how beautiful that place is! I literally felt like I was back on the beach in Hawaii.... Well, almost.

Current Obsession

I woke up for uni in a very bad mood at a far too early hour and decided the only thing that would pull me out of this funk was if I were to cover myself in smiling daisies for the day. So that's exactly what I did, and let me tell you it was quite effective! Love that we're clearly both feeling Lazy Oaf at the moment. I also bought Gig a pair of socks and matching note pad from their website the other day. That's right, they match hosiery with stationary - total genius! Headed back to one of our all time favourite lunch spots for the first time in a while! The second I arrived I struggled to remember why I haven't been eating lunch there every single day...the decor is super cute, the food is unbelievable and the sunny terrace is a prime tanning spot. Can't wait till Milou is old enough to be allowed out of the house and I can take him there with me!

This label is actually by a friend of a friend of ours and we could not be more excited to have discovered them. The coolest part is that the two talented ladies behind the label not only produce seriously awesome fashion items, but the studio also provides services in architecture, graphics, branding and interiors...if only they would create an entire house out of this pink felt for us - we would be in absolute heaven!

Plain blue jeans? Boring. We'd rather be caught in flat shoes (or no shoes). Here's a label - Aussie, of course - that's taken the age-old staple and given it a revamp. Summer Night

With Gig back in town and summer still very much in the air we decided to hit up the city for some Friday evening fun. Initially swung past Chin Chin in the hope that they could squeeze the two of us in for dinner but when that failed we headed to Pelegrini's for a not so fabulous but equally delicious spag bol...loving having my 24/7 friend back!

Somers Time

Had an epic (and very hectic) weekend up at Somers for Steffi Beach. After searching up and down Chapel Street for  the perfect outfit I finally decided on this amazing kaftan from Sass and Bide. A New Local

Tried out this new Japanese place for dinner - still in search of a replacement Takara, our Paris favourite (who would've thought my favourite Japanese in the world would be found in France!) While service was a little slow, the food was seriously delicious, and this place just may need to be added to my list of locals. My tastebuds are getting warmed up for our next trip...why can't it be April already!

Post-Holiday Blues

Had a super fun HTL shoot yesterday where we got to work with a great team of people and wear some of our favourite labels which was of course the ultimate! The concept for the shoot was really cool and despite feeling extremely awkward in front of the camera the pics turned out amazing! Very excited to share some outfit photos with everyone over the next week. Also discovered an awesome store based in Melb, Fashiondacci, which we will have to hit up later this week for some major wardrobe updates!

Aus Open Final

After two weeks of crazy tennis it was time to head to the men's final with the fam and I couldn't resist pulling out this fluro get up for the occasion. Absolutely loved watching the epic Djokovictory unravel! It was almost as enjoyable as seeing all the Murray fans get annoyed at us for our very loud and very excessive Djokovic cheering.. only down side to the match was that I lost $30!

Loving that a few of our fave Aussie labels are making it big in the US at the moment. FYI have since found out there are bathers that come in the same print which I'm dying for...in case you're starting to brainstorm for my birthday present!

Felt it had been too long since my last all in pink post so decided to rock this look for a day out shopping on the island. While I didn't have very high expectations for Hawaii fashion wise, I have to admit I was very impressed with the Missoni spread we happened to stumble upon! I absolutely die for the amazing colours and prints in both the homewares and clothing and couldn't resist splurging on a Missoni piece of my very own!
