I woke up for uni in a very bad mood at a far too early hour and decided the only thing that would pull me out of this funk was if I were to cover myself in smiling daisies for the day. So that's exactly what I did, and let me tell you it was quite effective! Love that we're clearly both feeling Lazy Oaf at the moment. I also bought Gig a pair of socks and matching note pad from their website the other day. That's right, they match hosiery with stationary - total genius! Headed back to one of our all time favourite lunch spots for the first time in a while! The second I arrived I struggled to remember why I haven't been eating lunch there every single day...the decor is super cute, the food is unbelievable and the sunny terrace is a prime tanning spot. Can't wait till Milou is old enough to be allowed out of the house and I can take him there with me!

LA Adventure

Having a week off from HTL for the first time since it started has been super weird. I have no idea what you've been doing, what you've been wearing...and even what you did for New Year's! LA has been epic, we've been seriously living it up here. From the incredible SLS hotel to major shopping success, and hitting up midnight Mexican feasts, I am dying for us to come live here. Today was my favourite - we hired a car and drove to Malibu for lunch, then sat on those The OC-style sheds on the beach and had a Sprinkles cupcake sunset picnic. Feeling like it's too soon to leave but very excited to be lying by the beach for the next two weeks...

Gig and I felt like something a little different so we decided to go to the Cross for some delicious porridge and people watching. Surprisingly blended in with all the crazies in this matching bag and shirt combo - I picked these up from the same place I got my glasses (a new store in Surry Hills you'll love). What you actually can't see behind the jumbo sized sunnies is the epic burn I am now sporting after 2 days of solid tanning. Major ouch!
