Top Paddock

While I'd usually make it a rule not to go to a cafe on its opening day, this place was so pumping as I drove by this morning that it caught my eye and lured me in. Turns out its by the owners of Two Birds One Stone which would explain why it was so packed on day one. Meal highlights were polenta porridge (see it on insta @howtwolive) and chocolate milkshake. An outfit change and quick tanning session later, Ro decided he needed to teach me how to ride his fixie...as if I'm not uncoordinated enough on my own two legs. Despite being a disaster it did make for a particularly hilarious afternoon and took me back to Copenhagen days.

Sale Season

Sale season has officially kicked off in Melbourne, with this week's definitely being the one I have been most looking forward to -  the Shakuhachi sample sale. Unfortunately the temperature ruined my shopping appetite and after half an hour of braving the intense heat I decided to give up and escape to the aircon in my car. I did find a great pair of flares for half price though so definitely came out winning.

Breaking and Entering

At the risk of becoming one of those idiots who does something illegal and posts it on the internet, here is a picture of the time we broke into...well I'm not really sure what it was exactly but there was definitely some sort of 'do not enter' sign. There's not much I won't do these days for a good style snap. I'm running seriously low on winter outfits but luckily had two amazing pieces I hadn't worn yet - the Sportsgirl pants, and top by new fave label Mad Love!

Las Chicas

Met Jade for breakfast at Las Chicas this morning - firstly, food was seriously delicious, can't wait for you to be living around the corner from there! But what I got really excited about was the bear look-a-like on the table next to me! It was the most gorgeous golden retriever (second to bear of course) and it's owner kept sneaking it bites of her scone under the table. Was so cute, I am now eagerly awaiting Milou's arrival, wish it was February already!

Paris Masters Day 5

After 4 days of sitting through hours and hours of tennis in my Paris best, I've finally ditched the beautiful attire in favour of something a little more comfortable. And if we're being totally honest here....okay that is my pyjama top. But who doesn't love a little Disney added to an outfit? Before the night session we decided to go for a wander around the area, and ended up joining in a crowd watching some local kids at a skate park. Taking a break from watching sport to watch sport? I think the Paris air is doing something strange to me...

Le Marais Graffiti

Spent a lazy Sunday wandering around Le Marais, eating Nutella crepes, and attending my weekly conversation class (where I'm by far the worst at speaking French!). Discovered this incredible graffiti wall which happens to be right near we live, not sure how I've managed to walk passed so many times and not notice it. Thought it was seriously worthy of an HTL snap...and could give Jake some inspiration for his Linton graffiti!

Shopping in the City

Spent the afternoon shopping in the city yesterday. Found a pair of platforms from Alice Euphemia which I literally had 3 dreams about last night... May just have to go back and visit them (slash take them home) today! PS. Don't wear these shoes on a day that you have to walk. Wish we got them in a bigger size... Ouch!
