Golf Day

For my final afternoon here I decided to get my golf on and go watch the tournament that's on - the Mitsubishi Electric Golf Championship. While swinging a club ain't exactly my thing, there's nothing better than watching someone else sweat while you enjoy an afternoon drink or two. Obviously took the opportunity to dress up, and while sadly I'd left my stripes and knee-high socks at home, I did manage to pull together this pretty cute golf-appropriate outfit, with the golf buggy as the perfect accessory to finish it off.

Boyfriend Singlet

There are 3 things that make me happiest in life: 1. Tanning, 2. Eating a really good tuna sandwich, and 3. Discovering something in my boyfriends wardrobe that I can steal. Today I hit two out of three (this place is seriously lacking in great sandwiches) so I'm pretty happy with myself. Absolutely loving this UNIF singlet that Ro bought and of course had to wear it before he's had the chance to. Paired with my white lace flares it made for the perfect last-night-out outfit. Farewell paradise!

Star Gazing

Made the genius decision to ditch our usual dinner spot and instead had a picnic on the beach. Spread was right up our alley - tuna sandwiches (with the crusts cut off) and chocolate chip cookies. Best part of the night was definitely the incredible star gazing that took place after dinner though.. at one point we thought we spotted a shooting star which we then decided was actually a meteor coming towards earth to kill everyone. Not to worry though, we later realised it was just Maui in the distance. Crisis averted!

Hello Kitty Shoes

After a week in this routine consisting of nothing but eating, sleeping, tanning and relaxing, decided to change it up today - if only very slightly - and visit the pond to watch the sharks being fed. The 3 baby sharks have become like our pets while we've been here, earning the nicknames Carrie, Charlotte and Samantha (we never cared too much for Miranda). Dying to take Samantha the hamerhead home for Bo to play with!

Out in Kona Town

Reluctantly left our beautiful resort and headed into town for a delicious Mexican feast, followed by a few drinks at the local pub. Brought back so many memories of when Sally and I backpacked around Hawaii what feels like forever ago. Can't believe you're underage here - the great thing about us looking like twins is that we can both get in on my ID! Thought it best to leave the camera at home for our night out on the town in case things got a little messy, so I snapped on the balcony beforehand - gotta love a little twosie action.

Hawaii Heaven

Today was just another day in Hawaii heaven. The morning consisted of the world's most delicious buffet breakfast - my favourite combo of bagels, scrambled eggs and pain au chocolat, and a walk through the gardens, followed by an afternoon spent splitting my time between the pool and the beach. Feeling like pretty much nothing could disturb this peace...not even the bird who insists on pecking at our window at 7 every morning.

Boys Day

Day two in Hawaii was potentially the most active day of my life - started out with a tennis game before breakfast, followed by a morning of tanning by this amazing pool. By afternoon we were on the basketball courts playing 21and to finish off had the most intense table tennis competition of my life.. gotta love being away with boys! Have to admit though, I am getting excited for some serious girl time when it's just us next week!
