Post-Holiday Blues

Threw this adorable outfit on this morning in an attempt to pull myself out of my depressed post-holiday state. First day back at uni in 3 months and I'm already planning our next getaway (you're gonna love this one)! Best part about my day was that I finally got to use my fluoro pink 2013 diary...it kind of makes me feel like Malibu Barbie...and I kind of love it!

Star Gazing

Made the genius decision to ditch our usual dinner spot and instead had a picnic on the beach. Spread was right up our alley - tuna sandwiches (with the crusts cut off) and chocolate chip cookies. Best part of the night was definitely the incredible star gazing that took place after dinner though.. at one point we thought we spotted a shooting star which we then decided was actually a meteor coming towards earth to kill everyone. Not to worry though, we later realised it was just Maui in the distance. Crisis averted!

Shopping in Pink

Felt it had been too long since my last all in pink post so decided to rock this look for a day out shopping on the island. While I didn't have very high expectations for Hawaii fashion wise, I have to admit I was very impressed with the Missoni spread we happened to stumble upon! I absolutely die for the amazing colours and prints in both the homewares and clothing and couldn't resist splurging on a Missoni piece of my very own!

Spa Day

We weren't quite feeling relaxed enough after eight days of nothing but tanning by the pool and eating delicious food so decided to head to the spa for an afternoon of R&R. Our amazing massages were followed by a sauna and ended with a dip in the spa and some lychee tea. Seriously best way to spend the afternoon!

I think one of my favourite things about being on holidays is every afternoon at 5 when it's finally happy hour, or Beer O'clock as we have come to call it. The best thing about yesterday though, other than the edamame that accompanied my delicious mango mai tai, was that I finally got to wear this amazing quilted Topshop twosie. Been waiting for the right moment to steal it off you ever since I saw you take it out of your Paris suitcase.

Finally Arrived

After a day of travelling, a five hour delay at the airport and ten episodes of Homeland, I have finally arrived in Hawaii! Had the most beautiful first day tanning by the pool and reading my most recent obsession Message From An Unknown Chinese Mother which I'll have to give you when I'm done. Could not be more excited that this is all that's on the agenda for the next two weeks! PS I discovered an epic tuna sanga and hot choc combo at Santos in Sydney airport - Pret has some serious competition here!
