It's an artwork that explores what it's like to be an urban Aboriginal living in contemporary Australia.... but I just like it because it's pretty! PS how cute are the question marks on these socks! Just arrived in London for a reunion with our Brother Thomas aka Jerome! We're here for the weekend for Lachlan's birthday, all staying together at this incredible apartment on Oxford Street - a location chosen for obvious reasons (my credit card is shaking in its little platform boots). After opting for an entirely purple outfit I've spent the whole day with an odd craving for grape flavoured bubble gum...which led me to reminiscing about Bubble Tape - do they still make that?

Le Petit Prince

Been feeling a serious lack of Paris in my life lately so Deb and I decided to go to Le Petit Prince for breakfast and a good dose of familiar french accents. Could not be more in love with this Cameo cape - I literally squealed when I saw it had arrived the other day (with ten million other pieces you're going to die for)! Been looking for the perfect outfit for it and could obviously think of no better way to welcome it to our wardrobe than an all pink ensemble. Killed it!

Heard Laduree reopened on the Champs so I headed there today for some of their world-famous macarons... their marshmallow filling is to die for, will have to go back with Jerome when he gets here next week. Have been so excited to show you these flares since I bought them! They're so comfy and have joined the velvets and the laces as a major wardrobe staple. Luckily for you they'll be part of your wardrobe too so very soon.

Coco Cubano

Was craving a milkshake so headed to Coco Cubano on Greville street after hearing great things about their desserts from people who love chocolate as much as I do. Ended up spending the afternoon there which lead to tapas and more desserts... my favourite type of day! Also wore my new twosie from Sportsgirl. Been waiting for this since I saw it in their look book online weeks ago. Even more adorable than I thought it would be, best purchase!!

Cafe Hopping

When Appel wore this jumper the other day I fell in love with it and knew I had to steal it for myself! It also provided some much needed warmth for a winter's day spent cafe-hopping around Paris (we knocked 3 cafes off our must-visit-before-leaving-Paris list). Got a little creative with my lipstick and while it seemed like a good idea at first, after about 10 minutes of wearing it the colours started to rub off on each other. The great news is that this lead to the discovery of a new hybrid lipstick colour which I love and will most definitely be wearing again!

Long Weekend

Decided to go to the Yarra Valley for the long weekend, my god it is so beautiful there! Spent the day tanning in the sun, followed by an afternoon walk around the hills and a late outdoor dinner at Innocent Bystander (which was delicious). How cute is this pink cuff! I found it in Jerome's room the other day... fairly sure it used to be a crown on one of our old dolls but it went with my outfit perfectly. PS. as you can see tan is coming along solidly, can't wait for you to come home so I can have a full time tanning buddy!

Paris Masters Finals (Go Poland!)

After a week of living and breathing tennis, today it all came to an end with the finals. We decided to pull out the red and white in support of Polish player Jerzy Janowicz. He may have ended up losing, but we had fun spending the day in dress up, and yelling out phrases drawn from Appel's limited Polish vocabulary - pretty sure us screaming "liar" and "god can only help those who help themselves" couldn't have been all that helpful, but we figured he'd be happy to hear something familiar.

Paris Masters Day 5

After 4 days of sitting through hours and hours of tennis in my Paris best, I've finally ditched the beautiful attire in favour of something a little more comfortable. And if we're being totally honest here....okay that is my pyjama top. But who doesn't love a little Disney added to an outfit? Before the night session we decided to go for a wander around the area, and ended up joining in a crowd watching some local kids at a skate park. Taking a break from watching sport to watch sport? Lucia M, Australia: Where do you buy your clothes from online? 

Our favourite online stores to get a great variety of brands are My Catwalk which stocks a lot of great Aussie designers, Nasty Gal which sells incredible edgy and fashion-forward pieces, and ASOS because they have a huge variety of brands.

Simone D, NZ: What did you guys study at university?

Stef studied Professional Communication at RMIT in Melbourne, and Jess is currently studying Fashion Textiles and Merchandising, also at RMIT in Melbourne.

Jade C, Australia: How did you get your fashion world started? Do you have any advice for people wanting to get out there themselves? 

We started working in fashion mainly through volunteering and internships with various brands and fashion weeks. There are so many opportunities available, writing to your favourite labels to see if they're interested in taking on interns is a great place to start. Blogging is something we've only stepped into this year as HTL is our first blog, but we've had so much fun doing it and would definitely recommend it. If you're considering starting a blog then the best advice we can give you is to just get out there and start straight away. And use social media to promote it - Facebook, Instagram and ASOS Fashion Finder are all great in helping to get your blog noticed.

Emily C, Australia: Where are the best places to buy great clothes on a budget?

Ebay is still one of the best places to buy affordable clothes, and some of our favourite pieces have been found on Etsy. Other cool online stores with more affordable price points are Beginning Boutique and Karmaloop. We also love checking out vintage and bric a brac markets - finding treasures can be a little bit more of a challenge, but once you do find something you love you'll love it even more after working for it!

St Kilda Beach

Decided to head to St Kilda beach for my first full day in the sun. I guess it wasn't the most original idea considering I was joined by what felt like a million other beach goers. May have gotten a little too excited with the prospect of a tan - I know I look a little pink here but trust me, this is nothing. After the snap was taken I seemed to get progressively redder, to the point that now my face almost resembles a tomato... god I missed summer!

Paris Masters Day 3

After complaining about our obstructed view 'Category 1' seats, we were excited to get an upgrade for the day to box seats with access to the VIP lounge. No player sightings as yet but we have discovered the player drop off point so someone better tell Tsonga to expect us there soon. Spending all day inside the stadium is making us go a little crazy so we decided to head outdoors between matches and happened to find this beautiful park to eat lunch in. As you can see the ASOS package arrived this morning...so many amazing clothes I can't wait to share!

Paris Masters Day 1

Being the crazed Tennis fans that we are, we decided to skip school for the week and bought 7-day tickets to the Paris Tennis Masters. Not one to miss an opportunity to dress up, I opted for checks, florals and my two-toned wedges. Thinking I would totally stand out from a crowd full of people in tracksuits and runners, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself blending in with the tennis-goers in their suits and their heels...and then I had to remind myself, this isn't the Aus Open...this is Paris!

Weekend in Brussels

We decided to spend the weekend in Brussels for some sightseeing and shopping. After stepping out into 5 degree weather our big plans for the day quickly turned into an afternoon spent in a beer bar with a giant food platter and board games.
